Engineer MP Adnan Mashouqa directed a question to the Jordanian government regarding the legal basis for considering the incoming air into the water network as an actual measuring point on the meters, asking whether the government will recalculate the bills and compensate those affected. He also inquired about the continued issuance of estimated water bills, the number of related complaints, and the procedures implemented to resolve them. Additionally, he raised concerns about the lack of oversight on private water tanker prices, questioning whether there is an official set rate, amid citizen complaints on this issue. He touched on the government's methods for storing rainwater, their effectiveness in addressing water shortages, and the reasons behind the failure of some storage operations.
