Jordan teachers vital for future
Jordan and the world celebrate International Teachers' Day, highlighting the important role teachers play in building generations and developing education. The focus is on enhancing teachers' status amid technological changes and shifts in learning methods, as educational systems face challenges such as supporting professional skills, improving working conditions, and providing a suitable environment for modern education. Experts emphasize that teachers are no longer limited to transferring knowledge; their roles now include guiding students, shaping their personalities, and fostering creative and critical thinking skills. Government policies include measures to elevate the status of teachers, such as allocating land at reduced prices, increasing scholarships, and developing training programs, all aimed at empowering teachers professionally and ensuring the quality of education in the future.
