Yemeni forces take control of Bab al-Mandab and Miyon
The Yemeni government forces announced the completion of their control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Meion Island off the western coast, following intense clashes with the Houthi group in the Zabid area. The operations resulted in the capture of several Houthi elements, aiming to reclaim vital regions that serve as key maritime trade routes. These efforts are part of the Yemeni forces' broader strategy to secure maritime passages and regain control of strategic locations in the region.
