Heavy thunderstorms hit multiple provinces
Today in Jordan, moderate to heavy thunderstorm rains occurred in several governorates, especially in the southeast of Amman and in Zaqaqa Governorate, as well as in Ma'an, Tafilah, and Karak regions. The Meteorological Department issued a warning to citizens about the dangers of floods and urged them to take safety precautions and stay away from riverbeds. The rainfall coincided with a state of atmospheric instability that leads to heavy showers and unstable weather, with forecasts of increased rainfall, thunderstorms, and hail in the coming days.
