British Telegraph: Israeli gangs smuggling drugs into Jordan
A report by The Telegraph highlights drug smuggling operations from Israel to Jordan using balloons and drones, with large quantities of hashish and methamphetamine being transported across the border. The price per kilogram in the Jordanian market has risen to £7,500 over the past two years. Jordanian security forces have intensified border inspections, while Israel continues to deny any involvement. Some parties are exploiting this issue to bolster their military presence in the West Bank and justify expansionist policies. The situation has also drawn criticism regarding security conditions and Israel's role in the Sahel region.
