Gold stabilizes amid falling dollar
Gold prices stabilized in the global markets as investors awaited U.S. consumer price data, which could influence the Federal Reserve's decision on interest rate hikes. The spot price of an ounce remained at $4,161.05, while U.S. futures rose by 0.2% to $4,185. Meanwhile, other precious metals such as silver, platinum, and palladium saw declines, and the dollar weakened as markets continued to monitor the timing of a potential U.S. interest rate increase and the possible impact on financial markets.
