Saudi Arabia details Asian Cup status
The organizing committee for the 2027 Asia Cup in Saudi Arabia has reported that preparations for the tournament are proceeding on schedule, despite recent attacks targeting the Kingdom, including an attack on Riyadh Airport that resulted in the death of 12 people and over 300 injuries. They confirmed that the facilities and infrastructure are ready, and that the tournament will be held from January 7 to February 5, 2027, with no plans to delay it at this time, despite heightened security tensions following the attacks.
