Albadraneh: Jordan's Asian Nomination Results from Years of Effort
The article discussed the Jordan Football Association's nomination for the Best National Football Association Award in Asia for 2026, in the Platinum category, alongside the Japanese and Saudi associations. This recognition reflects the progress the federation has achieved across sporting, technical, and administrative levels. Acting Secretary General of the federation, Farah Al-Badarna, confirmed that this nomination highlights significant accomplishments such as the national team’s qualification for the World Cup, reaching the AFC Asian Cup final, and finishing as runners-up in the Arab Cup, in addition to the successes of the women's teams and youth categories. The report also pointed to the federation’s efforts in developing the football infrastructure, discovering talents, and elevating technical and administrative standards through new tournaments and training centers, all aimed at continuing advancement and strengthening the country's regional standing. The winner is expected to be announced at the annual awards ceremony in Bangkok next November, serving as an encouragement to pursue ongoing development and future successes.
