Statements have been made regarding the absence of attacks on forest lands in the Ain Al-Basha district. The Director of Agriculture confirmed that pine trees previously suffered from bark beetle infestations and drought as a result. Teams have been formed to combat the dry trees, which are cut down and the firewood is transported to stations for proper handling according to established procedures. The firewood is sold to citizens in quantities ranging from 34 to 40 tons monthly. These operations aim to reduce environmental risks and utilize the firewood in a systematic and organized manner.
