Israeli missile alert on Egyptian helicopter
News reports discussed the discovery of an Israeli warning system on a Egyptian Mi-24 helicopter, which was showcased at the Alamein Air Show. Although there has been no official announcement or direct military agreement between Egypt and Israel, analyses suggest that the Israeli system, developed by Elbit, can be integrated into Russian helicopters either through prior upgrades or via third countries. It is worth noting that this system is designed to detect missiles using infrared sensors and to enhance the helicopters' chances of survival in the battlefield, although the deal or its source has not been officially confirmed so far.
