The "Madar Mina" Project in Wadi Rum is a pioneering Jordanian initiative carried out with the support of the King Abdullah II Foundation for Development. It aims to simulate surface conditions of Mars using a natural environment that resembles the terrain of the desert region. The project seeks to utilize knowledge, space sciences, scientific training, and educational tourism to create an innovative model that leverages national potentials and opens new opportunities for Jordanian expertise in technological fields and scientific research. Its goal is to promote innovation and economic development by providing a training and scientific environment that mimics life on Mars, thereby contributing to the development of innovative solutions and enhancing young people's chances to make a sustainable impact on the national economy and technological advancement.
