Science Ties Open Doors
The Royal Scientific Society, the SESAME Centre and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics renewed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen scientific research, education and training. It was signed at the SESAME Centre in Allan by Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Khaled Toukan and Atish Dabholkar. Building on a partnership launched in 2021, the memorandum will give researchers in Jordan and the region opportunities for training and collaboration, as well as access to advanced research facilities, particularly in synchrotron science. Officials said the partnership aims to support young scientists, connect them with international research networks and strengthen scientific capacity across the region.
