Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani affirmed that Syria and Jordan have strategic cooperation and an integrated relationship in the security and military sectors to ensure the security and stability of their borders. This cooperation takes place through the Higher Coordination Council, which will hold its third session next month. Speaking at the 2026 Manama Dialogue, he said Syria would stand with Jordan and the Gulf states in confronting attacks, pointing to the challenges posed by cross-border militias. He added that Syria had suffered more than 1,000 Israeli attacks in less than two years, killing dozens.
