Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei hinted that an agreement with Washington could be reached in the coming days, saying Tehran’s seven-step proposal could be implemented within two days. He added that Iran was ready to reopen the Strait of Hormuz if the United States accepted its demands. The proposal includes ending the war, reopening the strait, resuming nuclear negotiations, releasing Iran’s frozen funds, and lifting the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports. Iranian negotiators left Doha after a draft proposal was circulated, with a follow-up meeting still possible, but the talks have yet to produce a final outcome.
