MP Dima Tahboub explained that several MPs prayed together in the House of Representatives chamber before the official session began. She said that prayers are also held in the chamber when the House is not sitting or during breaks. She added that the doors were closed during the opening session until the King’s motorcade had left, so the MPs chose to pray inside the chamber rather than risk missing the prayer time before the doors reopened.
