Israel PM selection talks
Israeli President Isaac Herzog will begin consultations on Wednesday to select someone to try to form a government, after an election that gave neither Benjamin Netanyahu nor his rival, Gadi Eisenkot, a likely majority. Forming a government could take weeks or months, and may fail, leading to another election. There is speculation that Herzog will explore the prospects for a national unity government.
