The Secretary-General of the General Iftaa Department, Zaid Ibrahim Al-Kilani, said that takfiri ideology targets the nation from within, and that its danger lies in directing violence against security personnel and making bloodshed permissible. He called for confronting it through sound knowledge and adherence to the teachings of Islam, in an awareness campaign involving families, schools, universities, the media, and state institutions. He also extended his condolences to the family of the martyr Jawad al-Salayta, affirming that the incident would make Jordan more united.
