Iran Guard vows response
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened a “powerful and devastating” military response if a new war broke out. Its spokesman, Hossein Mohebi, said Iran was continuing to develop missiles, drones and underground missile cities, and was ready to confront any aggression. Mohebi said the Aerospace Force had shot down more than 270 U.S. aircraft and drones and had taken control of seven intact reconnaissance drones over the past two weeks, according to his remarks. The threats come amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran and the possibility of renewed strikes, as the Iranian army announced a shift from a defensive to an offensive doctrine.
