Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces had targeted energy infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, including a substation in the Zhytomyr region, as well as a container ship southwest of Odesa that it said was transporting weapons and military equipment to Ukraine. The attacks came amid an intense exchange of drone strikes: Ukraine said it had shot down 137 Russian drones, while Russia reported intercepting 142 Ukrainian drones. Ukrainian media reported power outages affecting more than 600,000 consumers in Dnipropetrovsk and the suspension of electric train and metro services in the city of Dnipro.
