The third session of the Jordanian-Syrian Higher Coordination Council opens in Damascus on Monday, co-chaired by Ayman Safadi and Asaad al-Shaibani, with ministers and relevant officials from both countries taking part. The meetings will discuss ways to strengthen relations and follow up on the outcomes of the council’s second session, held in Amman last April, as well as the signing of memorandums of understanding and executive programs. Preparatory meetings are being held today, with the participation of ministry secretaries-general and technical teams.
