Remittance via e-wallets hits 3.09B dinars
The value of transfers via electronic wallets in Jordan reached 3.09 billion dinars since the beginning of 2026, through approximately 63.7 million financial transactions. There was a monthly increase of 12.7% in the number of transactions and 16.1% in value compared to April. The number of users stood at 2.97 million, the majority of whom are Jordanians (87.7%), with usage predominantly among the 18–30 age group. Money transfers accounted for 83.6% of the transactions. Additionally, the total number of transactions within the instant payment system since the start of the year reached 157.76 million, with a total value of 12.82 billion dinars.
