Labour Ministry permits foreign workers to update their qualifications
The Minister of Interior in Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf, issued a circular allowing expatriate workers to modify their academic qualifications or professions, provided they prove that these align with their actual job roles. The initiative aims to improve labor market regulation and increase transparency. Implementation of these guidelines will commence on June 2, and the goal is to promote a balance between the needs of the economic and workforce sectors. Additionally, the council continues working on developing the unified Kuwaiti guide for occupational description and classification to support data accuracy and enhance future policies.
