Updated Standards for Incoming Workforce Qualifications
The Public Authority for Manpower announced new regulations concerning the qualifications and professions of expatriate workers, allowing for the modification of academic qualifications or job titles if they are proven to align with the actual nature of the work. These regulations aim to provide a flexible framework to better match qualifications with labor market requirements, as part of the Authority's efforts to achieve more effective alignment between qualifications and market needs. The rules came into effect on June 2.
