Lithuania urges shelter use after unidentified object detected
Lithuania decided to direct residents of central and northern areas to shelters for an hour after an unidentified flying object was sighted, along with the deployment of NATO fighter jets and the closure of Kaunas Airport in response to the red air alert. Latvia also issued a yellow weather warning due to a potential threat after Ukrainian drone aircraft breached the airspace of NATO member countries in recent months, amid growing fears of the expansion of the Russian war in Ukraine.
