KTECH Tops Cybersecurity League 2026
Students of Kuwait Technical College (KTech) achieved a remarkable milestone in the field of cybersecurity by winning first and third places in the third edition of the Kuwait Cybersecurity League 2026, held on October 16, 2026, with the participation of 12 universities from Kuwait and over 120 teams. This victory came as part of the students' participation in hackathon competitions, which require solving technical challenges related to vulnerability detection and analysis. It reflects the college's excellence in offering a specialized Bachelor's program in cybersecurity—the first of its kind in Kuwait—and its investment in hands-on training that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. This achievement demonstrates the students' advanced skills and their ability to deploy their expertise to address digital challenges, while also strengthening Kuwait's national capacity to support its digital security infrastructure.
