Syrian Military Source: Iranian Bombing Hit Empty Desert Area, Did Not Reach Al-Tanf

The Iranian bombing of Syria targeted an empty desert area and did not reach the Tanf region, according to a Syrian military source to Al-Arabiya TV. The source confirmed that there are no American forces in the area since their withdrawal last February. Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it attacked the command center for American special operations in Tanf, resulting in the elimination of several of its troops. A diplomatic source also indicated that U.S. President Trump stated during a meeting with the G7 that he would pressure Israel to cease fire in Lebanon. At the same time, Lebanon is witnessing American military meetings regarding the Israeli withdrawal from experimental areas. It was previously reported that the Iranian bombing since June 22 has resulted in 38 deaths and over 400 injuries, amid ongoing tension between Iran and the United States in the region.
