Israeli PM questions Iran deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued to express his doubts about the agreement with Iran. In an interview with Fox News, he stated that he believes the hardliners in Iran are attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz whenever US-Iranian agreements are close to being reached, and that Israel will respond forcefully if it is attacked. He also pointed out that concerns over rising tensions in the region—especially after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard launched ballistic missile attacks on a US military base in Jordan—reflect ongoing Iranian threats. The region continues to see escalation, with the Revolutionary Guard intercepting oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
