Iran: U.S. Actions Endanger Strait Security
Iran affirms that ongoing American actions pose a threat to the security of the Strait of Hormuz and regional stability, warning that escalating U.S. policies increase tensions in the area. During a United Nations Security Council meeting, the Iranian ambassador stated that Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, along with violations of Syrian sovereignty, heighten the risks of instability. He called for a permanent ceasefire, the opening of humanitarian aid, and the removal of Israeli occupation. Iran also rejected American accusations against it, accusing Washington of violating international law and threatening Gulf security and freedom of navigation in the region.
