President Aoun discussed US visit outcomes
Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Resamni announced the results of his visit to the United States, where he received directives from U.S. President Donald Trump to resume the airline route between Lebanon and America, as well as to develop the railways and revitalize the ports. Additionally, President Aoun received Deputy Akram Chehib, who emphasized the necessity for Lebanon to maintain its sovereignty, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the south, and the role of the military institution in protecting the state. He underscored that only the Lebanese state should be responsible for security and that weapons should remain exclusively within Lebanese territory.
