Finance Ministry disperses public salaries
The Lebanese Ministry of Finance announced that it has transferred the salaries of all public sector employees, security forces, and retirees' pensions to Banque du Liban (the Central Bank). Beneficiaries will be able to withdraw these funds from their accounts starting Thursday. This measure is part of the government's efforts to continue paying public sector salaries amid challenging economic conditions and the worsening financial situation in Lebanon.
