Bahrain Reiterates No Iran Concessions
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the kingdom's commitment to dialogue as a means to resolve differences, while escalating its rejection of covering up attacks targeting infrastructure and civilian assets. This includes attacks on an ammonia tank and the East–West pipeline in Saudi Arabia, warning that such assaults could lead to widespread disasters. The ministry emphasized that regional security cannot be built on negligence or appeasement policies, and dismissed any attempts to overlook these attacks. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Bahrain underscored the necessity of adopting maritime arrangements based on the Law of the Sea and international agreements, affirming that the right of passage should be guaranteed for all without discrimination. Bahrain also affirmed its continued work within the United Nations and the Security Council to protect freedom of navigation and regional security, reminding that true peace requires justice and international responsibility.
