Lebanese Justice Minister on Hezbollah's Arms
Lebanese Justice Minister Adel Nassar emphasized that Hezbollah's weapons have only brought destruction and death to Lebanon. He stated that the state is striving to seize Hezbollah's weapons and hand them over to the authorities to ensure the country's security, reclaim territory, and protect regions. He underscored that nation-building should be free of sectarian interpretations and that the reasons behind the weapons must come to an end. He also warned that time is running out and that Lebanon's best interest requires restricting weapons to the hands of the state. Additionally, he noted that the investigation into the Beirut port explosion is progressing properly, with an expectation that the indictment will be issued before the end of the year.
