Iraq Completes U.S. Troop Withdrawal
The withdrawal of American forces from Iraq has been officially completed after more than two decades of occupation, which resulted in the death, injury, and displacement of over three million Iraqis since 2003. This marks the end of what President Donald Trump dubbed a "costly adventure," describing it as a difficult decision that took a long time, with a clear confirmation of the U.S. military's departure from the country. This event coincided with celebrations and festivals in Baghdad, which featured festive atmospheres aimed at reinforcing Iraq's sovereignty and announcing its departure from American occupation.
