Washington: Weapons won't bring stability
Foreign Minister and Expatriates Minister Yusuf Raji emphasized that Lebanon's stability requires ending Hezbollah's weapons and handing them over to the state. He affirmed that the government's decisions are progressing and that the only solution to the crisis is direct negotiations under U.S. sponsorship. He expressed support for the military institution and underscored the importance of assisting expatriates and facilitating the return of skilled professionals. Additionally, he called on Iran to cease interfering in Lebanese affairs and stated that Lebanon's stability is linked to legitimate weapons and political efforts.
