Al-Maqdisi: Melkite Christians regain public roles
The coordinator of the Greek Catholic Patriarchal Function Committee confirmed that the Greek-Melkite Catholic community is among the Christian denominations that have managed to regain most of their positions, and that the only remaining vacant Catholic center is the North Governorate Center, which is being regularly monitored. He called for not to be drawn into rumors and inaccurate information circulating on some websites, explaining that all religious authorities follow the directives of the Patriarch and endeavor to refute false news. He also affirmed that the religious leadership is committed to transparency and aims to serve the homeland and the members of the community.
