Pakistan strikes kill 22 in Afghanistan
The article focused on the escalation of tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, where Pakistan carried out airstrikes on Afghan areas resulting in the death of 22 people, most of whom were women and children, and the destruction of weapons and ammunition warehouses. Kabul responded by affirming that Pakistan targeted sites to launch attacks and for self-defense, while Islamabad accused the Afghan government of harboring Pakistani Taliban militants, which Kabul denies. Clashes between the two countries have intensified since February, despite a ceasefire in March, amid disagreements over sovereignty and security, with mutual accusations continuing.
