El Al to operate repatriation flights from Dubai
Israel's El Al Airlines has announced that it will operate special rescue flights from Dubai to bring Israelis back after Fly Dubai suspended its flights to and from Israel. The flights will start on Friday, with two trips from Dubai to Tel Aviv—one in the morning and another in the afternoon—in an effort to evacuate Israeli nationals stranded in the UAE, following changes in the flight routes caused by Saudi Arabia's refusal to allow Israeli aircraft to use its airspace. These steps are part of Israel's efforts to repatriate its citizens amid regional tensions and protests against the flights, with Israeli Transport Minister issuing a request to halt Fly Dubai flights following recent aircraft incidents.
