British-Iranian held over suspected attack near US base

British Counter-Terrorism Police have detained a man holding both British and Iranian citizenship on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, which is used by U.S. forces. The arrest followed reports of suspicious vehicles heading toward the base. The British Prime Minister stated that there are strong indications of Iranian involvement, though Tehran has denied the accusations. Five British men have been detained for questioning, and police have imposed a security cordon and evacuated 85 homes. No explosives have been found so far, and investigations are ongoing to identify the responsible party.
