Municipality Responds to Manhole Cover Thefts
After the theft of iron manhole covers in the city of Sidon, emergency teams and technical workshops carried out a field campaign to close and install new covers for stormwater and sewage drainage openings and filters in the city streets, with the aim of protecting citizens' safety and preventing potential flooding and accidents. The municipality is following up on this matter with security authorities to track down those involved, and appeals to residents to report any suspicious activities or thefts from the public network.
