Kyiv traffic affected by strikes
The article concerns the Russian attacks on Kyiv and the deterioration of security and living conditions in the Ukrainian capital. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of violating the rules of war, stating that it launched widespread attacks on civilian targets such as bridges, hospitals, and schools, which resulted in disruptions to traffic and the closure of major bridges due to frequent shelling, especially after the destruction of the Southern Bridge. The shelling caused traffic congestion and severe traffic jams, leading to loss of lives and the destruction of infrastructure. There have been warnings of continued escalation and threats to citizens' security, while the ongoing attacks are further challenging the city's economic recovery and stability.
