Baroudi urges deputies and officials to speak out to maintain trust
Sheikh Bilal Baroudi, the Sheikh of Qur'anic Reciters and the Secretary of the Fatwa in Tripoli, addressed the waste landfill crisis in the city. He criticized the weak voices of officials and parliamentarians in confronting everyday issues such as the hardships of living, inflation, and the healthcare and education services. He called for amplifying voices and applying pressure on the government to make effective decisions to resolve the crisis, urging officials to raise their voices before the people to meet their rights and to take citizens' demands across Lebanon seriously, especially given the deteriorating economic and living conditions.
