Israeli Jets Strike Bani Hayyan
The Israeli warplanes carried out two strikes on the town of Bani Hayyan in the Marjeyoun District in southern Lebanon, according to the National Agency. Other strikes also targeted nearby towns such as Al-Khiyam, Talousse, and Wadi Al-Salouqi, in a escalation that reflects ongoing tensions between Israel and Lebanon. The readiness level in Lebanese prisons has been heightened amid the threat of a strike, while an Arab ambassador has indicated that Israel alone holds the keys to escalation in the region, overriding negotiation agreements and diplomatic pathways.
