No date set for Lebanon-Israel talks
There is no confirmed date for a new direct negotiation between Lebanon and Israel, despite repeated reports about an upcoming round in Tampa, Florida, involving dates on the 20th and 21st of this month. So far, no official announcement has been made regarding the schedule, nature, or whether the talks will be military or political. It is likely that Lebanese positions will remain firm in emphasizing the core demands, such as stopping Israeli attacks, withdrawing forces, and releasing prisoners. Lebanon also underscores the importance of the American role in speeding up the implementation of agreements and relies on Washington's efforts to pressure Israel to cooperate in the negotiation process.
