Framework Agreement Under Implementation Test
The framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which is endorsed by the three parties (Lebanon, the United States, and Israel), is currently facing an implementation test, especially as the results of the upcoming military meeting in Florida are awaited to discuss Israel's policies of destruction and demolition. Lebanon is committed to all provisions of the agreement, and expectations for success depend on U.S. pressure to ensure the effective implementation of the deal, particularly regarding the Lebanese prisoners. Lists of 34 prisoners have been submitted to the Israeli side. The current negotiations are supported by international backing, and the upcoming military meeting is expected to determine the progress made in applying the agreement's terms, with Lebanon remaining hopeful that Washington will play a decisive role in ensuring successful implementation.
