Yemeni Forces Repel Saudi-Aligned Mobilizations
The Yemeni armed forces managed to force the Saudi-backed military reinforcements out of the areas of Turbah, Shamaytayn, and Samaa’ in Taiz Governorate, through the withdrawal of hundreds of vehicles and weapons, while Saudi and local leadership attempted to retreat. Losses were recorded among the field formations, as retreats continued in the southern and western parts of Taiz, which strengthens Yemeni control over areas of geographic and strategic importance in the western countryside of Taiz. This development indicates a noticeable shift in the balance of military control in the region, reflecting a decline in Saudi influence and the progress of Yemeni forces in the Taiz countryside.
