Artillery and gunfire strike north Gaza
Artillery shelling resumes on the east of Jabalia and Beit Lahiya in the Gaza Strip, amid gunfire from Israeli occupation forces. Palestinian sources indicate repeated targeting of the Beit Lahiya project, with civilian vehicles being attacked with stones between the towns of Jaba and 'Aqqe south of Jenin. The operation is part of the escalation of military operations by the occupation in Gaza, as Palestinian resistance responds with rocket barrages, reflecting rising tensions between the two sides.
