Az al-Din to record Israeli crimes against children
The article focused on the efforts of the Lebanese government and children's rights organizations to monitor Israeli violations against children in Lebanon, especially during recent conflicts. Deputy Hayia Azzi Dineh called on the government to document all violations, gather evidence, and present it before international courts to prevent impunity. The report indicated that from 2024 to 2026, 800 children were killed due to Israeli targeting, with over 1,065 children injured, including those with permanent disabilities, as well as severe psychological and social impacts. It also highlighted the need for a comprehensive national plan to protect children, coordinate efforts to improve health, education, and social protection, and focus on activating procedures for documenting violations and halting their ongoing occurrence.
