Mbappé Denies Madrid Dispute
Kylian Mbappé responded to reports claiming he was angry over Real Madrid and its coach Zinedine Zidane's lack of support for his Ballon d'Or campaign, mocking the narrative by saying his frustration was even with his own aunt. He clarified that the club had rejected his invitation to support him before the Madrid derby, and his anger during the match was a result of this rejection. This may explain his behavior on the field, including his sending off and playing with a yellow card. He also mentioned that he had asked Zidane for support as well, but the former coach couldn't assist due to Ousmane Dembélé's competition for the award. It is believed that a power struggle with Real Madrid has led to tension in his relationship with the club.
