Houthis remain Iran's key influence
The article discusses the escalating challenges facing Iranian influence in the region, highlighting that several Iranian proxies—including Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon—are experiencing setbacks and chaos following various field and political changes, amid international support for resisting Iranian influence. It mentions that Syria expelled Syrian government forces within a week, Iraq began to triumph over sectarian militias after the killing of Qasem Soleimani, and Lebanon is facing decline as Israeli occupation continues in southern Lebanon and Israel controls its airspace. Meanwhile, Yemen continues to liberate territories from the Iran-backed Houthis, with the fall of their last strongholds expected soon. The article emphasizes that these developments are paving the way for the collapse of Iranian influence in the region, asserting that the "Wilayat al-Faqih" project is facing a catastrophic failure. This situation has dire consequences for Arab peoples, who have endured decades of destruction and chaos due to Iran’s interventions.
