Lebanese-Israeli Talks to Cover Military Disputes
The article discusses the state of tension and deadlock in the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations, ahead of the Israeli elections and the potential for widespread military escalation before that. The report confirms that military and security movements remain the top priority, with ongoing operations in southern Lebanon and efforts focused on deepening field stability, while rejecting proposals to transform the negotiations into full military management. It also pointed out that the next round of talks is scheduled to take place between October 20 and 22 in Tampa, according to American arrangements, aiming to address issues related to the Israeli withdrawal and the halt of military activities. American pressure on Israel to make progress in the issue continues.
